Marlow traces back to Dr. Williamson Marlow and his wife Martha Jane, who settled on Wildhorse Creek around 1880. The family's outlaw legend lives on at the Outlaw Cave in Redbud Park on the east side of town, and Miller Park and its pond anchor the west side. With 4,385 residents at the 2020 census, Marlow has older buildings near the U.S. 81 and Highway 29 junction and newer homes on the edges.
We do not have a Marlow office. Crews come from Elgin headquarters at 302 Commercial Loop, Suite 4, Elgin, with the Lawton satellite as backup. Call (580) 574-2383. See the Elgin hub.
Wildhorse Creek runs through the Marlow area, and low ground near drainages can take water in a hard rain. Inside, it is the usual supply lines, water heaters, and roof leaks. We stop the source, extract, map moisture, and dry by readings. We document whether water came in from outside or from the plumbing, because policies treat the two very differently.
We board up, sort contents, clean soot, treat odor, and keep a photo inventory. Older buildings near downtown get extra attention in wall cavities and ductwork, where smoke settles.
We find the moisture source, contain, remove what cannot be cleaned, and dry before rebuilding.
Spring hail and wind hit Stephens County every year. We tarp, dry, document, and handle the rebuild on the same file.
We also work Duncan, Central High, Chickasha, and Elgin.
