Apache's lots went in a land run on August 6, 1901, and the town incorporated the next summer. Rock Island railway officials gave it its name. It has stayed what it started as, a wheat and cattle town, with about a thousand residents at the 2020 census. That means two kinds of property make up most of our Apache work: older homes and commercial buildings in town, and farmhouses on acreage outside it, often with outbuildings and private wells.
We do not have an Apache office. Apache is about twenty-three miles north of Lawton, so most jobs run from the Lawton satellite at 1511 W Gore Blvd, Suite 8, Lawton, with Elgin headquarters at 302 Commercial Loop, Suite 4, Elgin as backup. Both use the same (580) 574-2383 line. See the Lawton hub for that office.
On acreage properties the water source is often outside the walls we can see: a private well line, a long supply run from the road, or a pressure tank in a pump house. We trace it, stop it, and then dry the structure in the right order: extraction first, then moisture mapping, then air movers and dehumidifiers placed by the readings.
In older in-town buildings, plaster and brick hold moisture well past the point where the surface feels dry. We meter inside the wall and under the floor before we pull equipment, and we write those readings into the file so the carrier can see why the job took the days it did.
Rural fires bring their own problems: longer response times for the fire department, more water used to put the fire out, and smoke that reaches outbuildings and stored equipment. We secure the structure, separate salvageable contents from losses, clean soot and treat odor, and document all of it for the claim.
Farmhouse crawlspaces and attics are the usual mold spots in and around Apache. We find the moisture source first, contain the area, remove what cannot be cleaned, and dry the space before any repair is closed up.
Spring hail and wind are the high-volume calls in Caddo County. We tarp open roofs, dry what got wet underneath, and once the scope is approved we handle the rebuild on the same file.
We also work Anadarko, Fletcher, Cyril, and Fort Sill-area rentals.
