Cyril's townsite was surveyed in 1907. From the early 1920s until it closed in 1984, an oil refinery was the town's main employer, with 160 workers when it shut down. The refinery has since been demolished and the site cleaned up. The town had 827 residents at the 2020 census. Much of the housing near town dates from the refinery decades, so original plumbing and older roofs are common.
We do not have a Cyril office. Crews come from Elgin headquarters at 302 Commercial Loop, Suite 4, Elgin, with the Lawton satellite as backup. Call (580) 574-2383. See the Elgin hub.
Aging supply lines, water heaters, and drains cause most of the water calls in older homes. We stop the source, extract, check under the floor and inside walls, and dry to the readings. If old plumbing failed, we document it plainly so you and your plumber know what needs to be replaced, not just what got wet.
Older wiring is part of why fire calls happen in older housing. After a fire we board up and tarp, sort contents, clean soot, treat odor through the ductwork and cavities, and keep a photo inventory for the claim.
Mold here usually follows a slow leak or a damp crawlspace. We fix the moisture, contain, remove, and dry before rebuilding.
Hail and wind come every spring. We tarp, dry what got wet, document for the carrier, and handle the rebuild on the same file.
